“And the Lord said to Moses, why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.” -Exodus 14:15-16
“Moses, the rod! The rod! I can almost image the Lord screaming to Moses “the miracle is in your hand, why are you stuck?”
How many of us been in a situation like that waiting for a miracle or even a breakthrough and we wait and wait and the Lord is waiting on us to just walk. Moses, why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.
Our ability is enough in God’s hand. Moses’ rod was his ability. Let’s find out where the rod came from. In Exodus chapter 3 the Lord appear to Moses while he was tending the flock ( sheep ) of Jethro ( Moses’ father in law ). He was a shepherd. A shepherd is a person who leads. When the Lord told Moses “The rod that’s in your hand.” He was saying; “Moses the ability what you learned over the years. You are a shepherd, I got you Moses, believe me.” Some time the Lord want to stretch us to see how much we can take. When you feel like the Lord is stretching you is because he want the blessing to fit.
Today the Lord is telling us our ability. Is what I’m going to use.
The Lord won’t move in our life in a way we don’t understand. “Peter the net that you’re throwing in well now throw it to the right and you will see.”
Your ability is enough. Now go on, achieve greatness for the Lord in Jesus mighty name.
