Believing hurts

“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”“Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.” Matthew 14:28-33

What do we do when the doubt comes? It is normal when the doubt comes and can I tell you that the doubt is very important in the life of a believer. It seems odd, but in order for us to believe we need to doubt, if we don’t have doubt we will just know and that’s not call believing.

I want to break it down how it was revealed to me.

Let’s take a look at what peter said “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter was not sure that he was talking to Jesus so can we say that peter started talking to Jesus with a doubt? GO ON! Move on with what ever you think is not having faith, just believe. That’s how Peter started to grow in his faith by doing what was not certain.
Sometimes it’s going to hurt to believe. When Peter begin to sink I know he started asking questions. Is it worth it? You tell me is it worth it. Why you started to begin with. It’s okay if you are tired just don’t give up because I tell you what, this passage started with a doubt or a question but it ended with a statement.

As I write this I feel like the Lord is talking directly to me. Sometimes it’s just hard to just hold on but please do because you will see when you get on top of the mountain.

Let me tell you how the story ended now Peter knew that it was Jesus for sure, Jesus is now in the boat with him and he did something he probably never image like walking on water. Maybe you don’t want to walk on water or maybe you do, but what are the impossibles in your life.

Today is the day to say Lord Jesus I’m not sure but help walk the impossible walk of faith. You could do it I believe in you, you should too.

Your ability is the miracle

“And the Lord said to Moses, why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.” -Exodus 14:15-16

“Moses, the rod! The rod! I can almost image the Lord screaming to Moses “the miracle is in your hand, why are you stuck?”

How many of us been in a situation like that waiting for a miracle or even a breakthrough and we wait and wait and the Lord is waiting on us to just walk. Moses, why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.

Our ability is enough in God’s hand. Moses’ rod was his ability. Let’s find out where the rod came from. In Exodus chapter 3 the Lord appear to Moses while he was tending the flock ( sheep ) of Jethro ( Moses’ father in law ). He was a shepherd. A shepherd is a person who leads. When the Lord told Moses “The rod that’s in your hand.” He was saying; “Moses the ability what you learned over the years. You are a shepherd, I got you Moses, believe me.” Some time the Lord want to stretch us to see how much we can take. When you feel like the Lord is stretching you is because he want the blessing to fit.

Today the Lord is telling us our ability. Is what I’m going to use.

The Lord won’t move in our life in a way we don’t understand. “Peter the net that you’re throwing in well now throw it to the right and you will see.”

Your ability is enough. Now go on, achieve greatness for the Lord in Jesus mighty name.

The Jesus of now

Have you ever placed something in a locker? It’s usually something very important and valuable; Right? I remember when I was in middle school putting there only the stuff I didn’t want the other students to touch. I wanted to keep it away from them. I was the only one that had access to it, only I knew what was inside. If they wanted to know what I had inside they had to come with me and see.

I want to be careful here, listen closely to what the Spirit is saying “come with me so I can show you what I have for you, all you have to do is follow me” – Holy Spirit

I want you to pray with me before starting: “Holy Spirit ( Jesus) please come into my life show me what you have for me, reveal who I am in you and please help me glorify Christ in the name of Jesus”

I don’t only come for the ministry I want to be a part of your daily life. Do you think I only belong in the church? Do you think I’m only here for the apostle, pastor, prophet, teacher, and the evangelist? I’m here for everyone who seeks me. More than anything I want to help you discover your PURPOSE…

God put a great gift in all of us. Why do some people live their dream lives and others don’t. Is it because God loves them more? The answer is simply no, it’s because some find their gift and others don’t. But the bible explains this in Exodus.

Our life is not in front us it’s within us, I hope you can find it. I knew you could do it, you are great!!!!

The Holy Spirit is the light within, he will help you discover who you really are. My next post will be sharing the revelation He gave me to transform my life into a greater me. I didn’t know I had it in me.

The Holy Spirit is as important

Let’s take a look at what Jesus said to his disciple about the third person of the Trinity. Yes I said a person.

I know it could be odd thinking of the Holy Spirit as a person when I was first introduce to the idea it was odd to me too but with time I change perspective. The way I see it now is very simple I mean we don’t see Jesus but when we pray we believe that He is there then why not talk to the One who taught Jesus. I’m not saying Jesus is not here He is in the person of the Holy Spirit. I have good news and that is that you don’t have to think like me. By all mean I’m not saying I’m right either… it’s just matter of believing.

How important is the Holy Spirit?

Once when he was eating with them, he commanded them, “Do not leave Jerusalem until the Father sends you the gift He promised, as I told you before. John baptized with water, but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” Acts 1:4-5

This is Jesus telling his disciple hey guys I know you have walked with me quiet some time now but you still need the One the Holy Spirit. Why would Jesus tell his disciple to wait. He knew the importance of walking in the power of the Holy Spirit. He also waited to receive the Holy Spirit.

Follow me real quick here when Jesus was baptized by John at the Jordan River that’s when the spirit came upon him.

After his baptism, as Jesus came up out of the water, the heavens were opened and he saw the spirit of God descending like a dove and settling in him – Mat 3:16

But it didn’t just end there that’s was just the beginning, the beginning of Jesus ministry. Right after the Bible tell us that the spirit let Jesus into the wilderness. This is key being led by the spirit in everything that we do is a guarantee victory even if it don’t seem like it. Remember Peter when he ask to walk on water well he did but then he started to sink then he cried for Jesus’s help and they walk back together. This only happen to those who are led.

If you like read it you could find it on Mat 14:22-33

The Holy Spirit don’t only come for people in the ministry is for everyone.

He want to walk with you daily…

Welcome

How cool it would be if we would get help every step of our walk in life. Well we can. The Holy Spirit is there with us every step of the way to help us and guide us. Many ignore the fact that He is real, some people don’t even know that He is there.

“All I want is to help you” – Holy Spirit

Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; For if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you – John 16:7

Will be sharing new revelations that the Holy Spirit give me so we could be transformed into a better us like He did with Jesus Christ.
